- Now that you created and saved a database called
- MEMBERS it will be necessary to know how to retrieve
- this database for further use.

- √√√ Step one is to access (start) the dBase program.
- When the dBase program appears on the screen both the "Set Up"
- Menu and Database file are highlighted.

- ▀ Press <ENTER> key.
- ▀ A column of letters representing disk drives appears.
- ▀ If you are using this disk, select A: drive. Press <ENTER> key.
- ▀ If you are using your hard drive select C:. Press <ENTER> key.

- ▀ The screen displays the files saved on your disk.
- ▀ Highlight MEMBERS.DBF and press <ENTER> key.
- ▀ The screen displays this message:
- Is the file indexed? [Y/N]

- Press <ESC> key to return to Menu

- Select "EDITING/MODIFYING dBASE", then press <Enter> key.
